Mata Tripura Sundari Open University is nestled in the state of Tripura.MTSOU is establishedwith the aim of providing flexible learning opportunities to a diverse student population.The University is approved by the University Grants Commission under the section 2(f)of the UGC Act1956 and established under Mata Tripura Sundari Open University, Tripura Act, 2024.
A Committee constituted by the Higher Education Department, Government of Tripura, visited Mata Tripura Sundari Open University (MTSOU) as part of an official assessment exercise to review academic activities, statutory compliance, and infrastructural facilities of private universities/institutions in the State.
