Debarath Das is currently serving as an Assistant Professor of English in the School of Humanities and Social Sciences at Mata Tripura Sundari Open University. He holds an M.A. in English Degree from Tripura University (A Central University) and has qualified the UGC-NET in English (2022). His academic interests span Creative Writing, Literary Theory and Criticism, Ecocriticism, Indian English Literature, and American Literature. He has presented his work at prestigious forums, including Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi, and has actively contributed to the literary landscape of Tripura through his association with the North Eastern Writers’ Forum and other regional literary groups. He has recited his poems at several distinguished literary gatherings and has a deep passion for creative writing. He is the author of the novel The Love Influenza and has published multiple scholarly articles in reputed national and international journals.
