Dr. Pradip Molsom is currently serving as an Assistant Professor and Programme Coordinator of English, with the additional charge of Assistant Controller of Examinations, at Mata Tripura Sundari Open University, Tripura. He holds a Ph.D. in English from Tripura University, where his research centered on Molsom language, an indigenous and lesser-studied language of Tripura. His academic interests extend to English literature, linguistics, and indigenous language studies. He has taught in several higher education institutions in Tripura at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels, where he has served as Guest Faculty and Part-Time Teacher. He has presented papers at major national and international conferences, notably at Universität Konstanz, Germany and Tezpur University, Assam. His scholarly articles have been published in reputed peer-reviewed and UGC-approved journals in fields such as linguistic classifiers, phonology, derivational and inflectional morphology, as well as literary studies.
